The Concept team is dedicated to providing the absolute best in customer service and care. A unique group, Concept’s story is, in many ways, told by these faces. Whether offering you free style advice or producing our own design in-house, the staff here carry out their tasks with individuality, flair and dedication. Of course, the tale would not be told without you.
MD & FOUNDER
MD and visionary with over ten years experience in the field of optics specialising in both interior eye and paediatrics. Vik espouses an unorthodox business model, integrating a beauty brand with a social care ethos, tenaciously designed to tackle health iniquities in eye care where other optometrists do not dare venture. He has huge presence and personality, when we can actually find him.
Custodian of the concept brand, Shehla maintains the integrity of the company ethos through relationship, trust, creative design, strategy development and an inherent passion for quality. When she’s not doing that, she makes bad art, enjoys Apple word count, vintage clothes, a fast game of chess and good cup of java.
FRONT OF HOUSE
With a relaxed passion for patient care, Monsieur Rosello’s style is summed up as being a conductor for the unique’ atmosphere de velours’ for all those who enter the word of Concept. He also has a cult following amongst those-in-the-know, and, it seems…that a weekly deliverance of thank-you gifts accompanies that.
Senior optometrist with concept, we’re lucky to have Jim on board and glad he feels the same way! A special interest in conditions affecting the cornea and interior eye, Jim brings a wealth of experience managing patients with dry eye conditions. Riveting.
Serendipity brought us together. Completing the marketing team trilogy, James hits the spot and brings a feast of ideas and inspiration to the world of Concept with a Zen-like calmness and logic. When he’s not doing that, he writes fiction, historical narrative and is currently reading about ‘the cultural relevance of cats in the Napoleonic period….’ - James likes cats, a lot.
Lee prefers dogs. He also rather likes Post Impressionism. Welcoming back the doyenne of design for the Concept brand, and harnesser of the team with his unique artistry and energy. Concept events are now unpredictable, crazy and in a league of their own. Lee also holds a sensible job as a college lecturer but we don’t want to talk about that.
